First day of Spring?

Today is the first day of Spring here in Albuquerque and we are ready for it. Too bad the weather isn't.

March 20th Snow?

Yep that's snow. About a inch and a half on the ground and it's coming down hard. The high today is 45°F. A far cry from the small taste of Spring we had earlier this week of 65-70°F. It's okay though. We've got some friends coming over for dinner later tonight and Titus and I are going to have a lazy morning. Titus is enjoying his milk, resting (pretty well half asleep) on the couch.

Sleepy Morning

That didn't last long though, he's up and at it now. Pointing outside and babling away. I have no idea what he's saying, but he's very excited about the snow. We'll have to go play in it a while before it melts this morning.

Be warned visitors with mild weather dreams of Albuquerque Spring...be ye warned.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Photobucket

Good Day to everyone. We are on the mend from the sniffles and are looking forward to enjoying this green holiday. We also want to show off Elsa's new trick, Smiles. Titus isn't too sure about this morning. We are going to enjoy today with a trip to the grocery and slow cooking a corned beef brisket.

We are also looking forward to March Madness beginning this weekend! Go CARDS, and Go LOBOS!! Congratulations to the Lobos for making the tournament, and we would love to see them make it all the way! Titus loves to watch Basketball. He says 'buh ball' and points to the tv! Go Teams Go!

sniffles and more

All four of us have the sniffles. Titus came back positive for strep again. This is the third time within four months. At our 18 month well check up we are gonna get him tested again, to see if he is what they call a "carrier." Elsa has a a double ear infection, poor little baby. She caught Titus' cough and congestion, which I thought was bad enough. Then her temperature went to 101 and we immediately went to the doctors office. Ear infection, which I am actually happy about since it is treatable. So we have two different kinds of meds in the fridge, two different bottles of nasal rinse to thin out the gunk, and two different bulb syringes to suck it all out. Jordan and I are fine, just allergies, but our tissue supply is in desperate need of restocking! We are really doing well considering. Titus was pretty pitiful for a day or two. Those days we watched lots of shows. And Elsa really doesn't do anything different, sleeps eats and poops.
