Today we ate our first rice cereal! It went well, but I think more came back out than went in. We think he will get the hang of it soon. I will let the pictures tell the story.

Happy Birthday Jordan!
Today we celebrated Jordan's Birthday. We started the celebrating with a "Good Morning, and Happy Birthday Daddy." Later, Titus and I drove down and joined Jordan for lunch. What a treat! This evening we sat down for a yummy meatloaf dinner. Titus sat in his highchair, played with his toys and let us have a 'quiet' dinner together. (I say 'quiet' because his toys played music.) After dinner we all decorated a birthday cake. See below for the input from Titus! We didn't have any candles, so we didn't sing. But we did get some cute pictures. Jordan received a new badge lanyard and a new wallet and some of his favorite candies.
Thank you to all who sent cards and/ or called to wish him a Happy Birthday!

sniffles
Titus finally has gotten some sniffles. I might be the weirdest mom, but I am excited for him! His little body is building his own antibodies. I have to sit with him and rock him and listen to his little fusses, but its worth it right now. Today we are resting on the couch, and enjoying the snowflakes!

Weekend Activities
Titus was a busy bee this weekend. Friday Titus attended a birthday party (a first for him), then Saturday he attended the boys side of a baby shower. We all enjoyed our weekend. The birthday party was for Lauren's oldest, Jordyn. She turned 3 on January 21st. Kristin, Lauren, Kim, Kara, and Esther were the moms that attended and there were 11 kids between us!! It was so much fun, Titus loved to watch the older kids. There were 3 other babies within 3 months of Titus' age. As us moms talk we get to know how each child is so different, yet so similar in many ways. It is so awesome to have the network of mom friends to socialize with!
The Baby Shower was for friends of ours from church. Jordan took Titus with him to the boys only diaper party. He enjoyed being held by the many dads-to-be. And Mom was thankful to afford the opportunity to wear a necklace and earrings!

Dedication
Today was a Child Dedication service at Desert Springs Church. It's a special service we have about four times a year where new parents ask the congregation to join them in commitment to raising a Godly child. We presented Titus in front of our church in dedication to the Lord alongside 12 other couples. Standing before the rest of the congregation, each Dad introduced their wife and child(ren), then Terry-the head of the Children's Ministry-prayed over all of us. It was such a great moment. We asked a friend to take some pictures for us. Hope you enjoy them!
