Christmas 08 Part One

Fresh of the 6hr plane ride, we were ushered to a tasty meal at a Northern KY favorite of ours, Dixie Chili. While stuffing our faces with chili-topped hotdogs, we had to carefully keep our eye on Grandpa Rodney, who seemed to be eyeing the carseat and the door a little bit too often. After completing the road portion of our biathalon (I guess they have those...at least spell checker says its a word), we finally arrived in London. We were warmly greeted by Nana and Popi, and Nana was gracious enough to give Titus a bath to scrub off all the airplane yuckies. Thank you Nana! It may have not seemed like much, but after a full day of travel, that bath was exactly what all of us needed.

Our stay in London included lots of great meals with lots of great family. Titus didn't realize he had so many cousins! We have a great fussy face picture with Aunt Ashley! But we loved looking at Chris and Ashley's wedding photo's. Ashley makes such a beautiful bride and Chris didn't look like a total doofus, so all and all the photos turned out pretty good.

Grandad made Titus make the funniest noises. It's like they had their own little language. Titus loved looking at him and laughing. But one of the funnest things was to see Uncle E interact with Titus. We never got him to change a "poopie diaper," but we could definitely tell he is proud to be an uncle. They enjoyed laying on the couch together and watching cartoons. It was also fun to watch Uncle E learn to fly his helicopter. Keep working on those landings!!

We also went to see Seth play a basketball game. That was great time, and we had lots of fun taking pictures! Awesome steal and lay-up Seth!! Thank you for inviting us to your game. We truly enjoyed our time in the bleachers with Erin Anne and Lauren.

Granny made a delicious Christmas meal, the cranberry bread and apple cake were especially yummy. We sure liked playing with Papaw on the floor too!

And all the presents were perfect. Thank you all so much for everything. More to come soon...
