Trying to walk

Titus *loves* his new walker. Well... okay, he actually just cries when he walks with it, but it is helping. He will stand up on the couch and turn around and transfer to the coffee table. He looks at me or Jordan and just smiles! He is so proud of himself for doing just about anything these days. The little girl at church that is a day younger than Titus has been walking for at least a month now. People do say girls are faster learners than boys. That is okay by me. He will walk when his little body is ready.

One of his favorite things to do now is to climb the one little step in the house and sit at the top and wave his arms up and down and grunt, saying "mommy help me down." So I pick him up, take him across the room to a corner full of toys, and he crawls right back to the step! Ahhh, the excersice! :)

Our new nugget has been giving me worse headaches this time around. Either that or just the combination of Titus and the new baby. I will try to nap with Titus, but sometimes he only gives me an hour. :( With him in my belly I could nap all I wanted, (usually about 2 or 3 hours). But I shouldn't complain. I have a wonderful husband that will let me sleep in on the weekends and go to bed earlier in the evenings, while he cares for Titus.

And while we are at it, here is a the first belly pic of the second baby!

ROUND 2!!!

That's right. We're expecting again. As you can see Titus is excited to have a baby brother or sister (and so are Mommy and Daddy). Tiffany is ~12 weeks along and had her the first ultrasound for the new baby last week. The baby measured 4.7 cm long (that's about as long as a shelled peanut) and his or her heart rate was 162 beats per min (perfectly normal for this stage).

We can't find out what sex the baby is yet, and to be honest; we might not find out for this one. There are so few surprises as great as this in life and maybe it would be fun to be surprised. The other game we are considering to play would be to let the ultrasound technician write it down in a sealed envelope and see which one of us cracks first.

Not to be outdone by a photograph, Titus has a special video he'd like to share with everyone. Although we aren't quite walking on our own yet, we are definitely developing the skill set. Watch and enjoy!

Our first time using a "fork/spoon" thingy. We are eating yogurt. Maybe mom chose the wrong thing to start with... it is EVERYWHERE!!! So much fun :)

He is actually getting the hang of it. He just drops the utensil in the bowl then picks it up. It doesn't matter which end, he just sticks it in his mouth. I am not sure how he got it on his forehead, but we need a bath anyways.
